Servato Appoints Dr. David Boden to Advisory Board

Respected Electrochemist Advising Company’s Product Strategy

NEW ORLEANS − February 25, 2016 – Servato Corp., a leading provider of energy management solutions, today announced the addition of Dr. David Boden to its Advisory Board. Dr. Boden is a well-respected technical advisor to the battery industry. In addition to serving in research and technology management roles at such leading battery vendors as ESB (Exide), Chloride Group (Emerson), C&D Power Systems and Douglas Battery, he has spent the past two decades advising the world’s leading battery designers and manufacturers regarding their product strategies, through a period of dramatic and exciting change.

Boden is past Chairman of Battery Council International (BCI) committees and subcommittees on Industrial Battery and Charger Technology; Tests and Ratings; and Analytical Methods. He received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Polytechnic University of New York and his BS in Chemistry from University of Salford (England). Dr. Boden is the author of over 40 scientific papers and presentations to technical meetings.

“Dave has been involved since very early on in the development of Servato’s charging algorithms and battery management platform, working as a consultant to the Company,” said Chris Mangum, CEO of Servato. “His ongoing technical guidance to our product teams will help us to ensure that we are addressing the needs and concerns of important stakeholders in the market, including the battery manufacturers themselves. Dave has earned tremendous respect throughout the battery industry. We are very pleased to have him join our Advisory Board.”

Boden joins other telecom and energy management leaders on the Servato advisory board to be announced over the next several weeks. Servato announced earlier this month that Dr. Niel Ransom has also joined the Servato Advisory Board.
